ACGA+ Policy Call: Why Mental Health Should Be On Trump’s Agenda feat. Sen. Roy Blunt (R-MO)
ACGA’s Managing Partner David Metzner was joined in our healthcare policy call by special guest retired Senator Roy Blunt (R-MO), who served in the U.S. Senate from 2011 to 2023 and in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1997 to 2011. During his time in the Senate, Blunt held the position of Chair of the Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services & Education, where his leadership was instrumental in passing The Excellence in Mental Health and Addiction Treatment Act, which was signed into law in 2014. During this policy call, Senator Blunt and Mr. Metzner discussed why mental health should be an agenda item during the Trump 2.0 Administration. A link to the policy call may be found here.
